Available for new projects

Senior software engineers.
Australian-led, end to end.

Mobile, web and backend products — designed, built and shipped by a senior team across Australia and India.

Proof of work

FytMate — our own product, built end to end

We didn't build FytMate for a client — we built it for ourselves, which is why it's the clearest picture of how we work. A small senior team took it from an empty repository to a live app on the App Store and Google Play in under three months, and still designs, builds and runs it today — with a new, paid version in active development. That same team is what you'd be hiring.

FytMate onboarding — build a training plan in 60 seconds
FytMate home screen — resume your workout session
FytMate train screen — resume workout, exercise library and muscle recovery
FytMate exercise library — 322 exercises with video demos
FytMate recovery screen — muscle-group body map by time since last trained
FytMate progress and analytics screen — training consistency and plan progress
FytMate nutrition screen — macro tracking and daily fuel target

Screens from the current build — a new, paid version in active development. What's on the App Store and Google Play today is an earlier, free release.

Flutter for iOS and Android on one codebase, a Supabase backend, and the full App Store / Play Store release — UX to production, one team, no handoffs.

What we do

Four ways to work with us

Most people who call us have the same problem: a product that has to ship, and no senior team to ship it — the agency they hired rotated its seniors off, or the depth was never in-house to begin with. Pick the engagement that fits where you are.

  • Decades of combined senior experience
  • Every engineer is a senior full-stack developer — no juniors on your bill
  • Shipped to the App Store & Play Store
  • AU + India business-hours overlap

Ongoing ownership of a live product — releases, monitoring, dependency and security updates, and a named engineer who already knows the codebase.

Best for
Products in production without a dedicated team
Team
A senior engineer on a recurring allocation
Start
After a codebase handover review
Basis
Monthly retainer, fixed hours

How we work

From first call to production

A predictable engagement: you know the plan, the price and the timeline before any code is written, and you can adjust course or pause between any sprint.

  1. 1

    Scope call

A 20-minute call to understand the goal, constraints and timeline. No charge, no obligation.

  2. 2

    Fixed-scope proposal

Within 3–5 days: a written plan with milestones, timeline and a firm price. No surprises later.

  3. 3

    Two-week sprints

A working demo at the end of every sprint. Reprioritise or pause between sprints, any time.

  4. 4

    Release & handover

Production deployment plus every repo, credential and doc — the build is yours, in full.

Our guarantee: your first two-week sprint is on us. If its demo doesn't match what the written proposal promised, you pay nothing — the $500 signing fee included.

Why Trueline

Three reasons to work with us

Shipped, live proof of work — see FytMate, not a slide deck.

Senior full-stack engineers own every build, end to end — no juniors, no handoffs.

AU-based point of contact for accountability, India-based delivery for coverage and cost.

Tech stack

The stack we build with

Chosen per project — native mobile where it matters, and the right tools for the web and backend rather than a one-size-fits-all stack. We also work in whatever your existing codebase already runs.

Team

Small by design

Extended coverage across AU business hours — Australia and India timezones overlap for most of the working day.

12 years' experience · your point of contact

Delivery is led by senior full-stack engineers based in India — all at the same level, so anyone on the team can own any part of your build. The team is kept deliberately small, and its full composition is shared openly during scoping calls.

For twelve years I built software inside other companies, and I kept watching the same thing happen: a business hires an agency for senior engineers, and a few months in the seniors have moved on and juniors are learning on the client's budget.

Trueline is built not to do that. I stay on every project as your point of contact. The engineers who build your product are senior, and they stay. And FytMate — our own app, live on both stores — is there so you don't have to take that on faith.

If that's the team you want, the call is with me.

Questions

What clients ask before signing

Will the people on the call be the ones who build it?

Yes. The people who scope your project are part of the delivery team — you're not introduced to one group for the sales call and handed to another after signing.

Do you sign an NDA?

Yes, before any detail is shared. Send yours, or use ours.

How do payments work?

A $500 fee on signing to lock in your start date — fully refunded if the first sprint doesn't match what the written proposal promised. After that, each two-week sprint is invoiced at the end of the sprint, so you pay as the work ships, never a large sum upfront. Maintenance retainers are billed monthly.

What if I'm not happy with the work?

The first two-week sprint is free if it doesn't match what the written proposal promised — the $500 signing fee comes back too, so signing costs you nothing if we don't deliver. After that you review a working demo at the end of every sprint and can pause or change direction between any two — you're never locked into an approach that isn't working.

What if I need to pause or stop?

You commit one two-week sprint at a time. You can pause, stop or re-prioritise between any two sprints — there's no multi-month contract to exit.

Who owns the code and the IP?

You do, in full. Every repository, credential, deployment and design file is transferred to you at handover, and it stays yours whether or not you keep working with us. We keep no licence and build in no lock-in.

What if we want to bring the project in-house later?

That's a clean exit. You already own every repo, credential and doc, and we run a structured handover for your new team — code walkthroughs, architecture notes, and whatever else they need to take over.

What happens if the engineer on my project leaves?

Every engineer on the team is a senior full-stack developer at the same level — there's no lone specialist holding a project together. The team is small enough that more than one person already has context on your build, so if someone becomes unavailable another picks it up without a ramp-up cost to you. Your Australian point of contact stays constant, and any handover happens inside the team — never back onto you.

How do we work together day to day?

A short kickoff, then a working demo at the end of every two-week sprint with progress visible in between. We work in your tools — Slack, Jira, Linear, whatever you already run. Your point of contact and the accountability for delivery sit in Australia; the build is led by senior full-stack engineers in India whose hours overlap most of the Australian working day.

Do you work in our existing codebase and tools?

Yes. For agency overflow especially, we plug into your repo, CI, ticketing and process rather than imposing ours. We also take on legacy upgrades in stacks we didn't build.

How soon can you start?

Usually within about two weeks of a signed proposal. The scope call and written proposal come first, and neither costs you anything.
